Sharks beat out Columbus

5sharks_dallas1.jpg

The Sharks beat Columbus 5 to 2. It was a very exciting game. The first period didn’t go so well. At the end of the period it was 1-0 columbus from a power play goal. The second period went much better. The first goal came from  Jonathan Cheechoo at 4:54. But then 24 seconds later Columbus scored. Then at 8:12 in the second Milan Michalek scored tying the game at 2 each. Then 1 minute 17 seconds later Marleau scored a goal giving the Sharks a 1 goal lead. That goal would be the game winner. Then in the third period the sharks pounded in 2 more goals. One goal from Marleau at 5:19 and the other one coming from Vlasic at 8:17. That was all the scoring for the game. Nabokov faced 33 shots and stopped 31 of them. The Sharks took 24 shots and scored on 5 of them.
