Sharks Come From Behind To Beat Detroit

The Sharks really shocked everyone when the came from behind to win it. The game started out fine. There wasn’t any scoring in the first period. The Sharks took 12 shots as the Red Wings only took 5.

The 2nd period was a lot more exciting. At :18 of the first period Marian Hossa scored a easy goal that Nabakov should have had. but then at 7:01 of the 2nd Marleau scored a goal to tie the game at 1 to 1. Then 2 minutes and 1 second later Jamie McGinn scored his first ever NHL goal to give the Sharks a  1 goal lead.  Then Clowe scored at 10:26 to make the score 3 to 1 sharks. That was about it for the 2nd period. The Sharks 15 shots and the Red Wings got 8.

The 3rd period didn’t go much better for the Red Wings because 6:08 of the 3rd Pavelski scored to give the Sharks a 4 to 1 lead. Then with 32 seconds left in the game Rafalski scored the 6th and final goal of the game making it 4 to 2 Sharks. That was the final score with the Sharks getting 6 shots in the 3rd and 33 overall. The Red Wings took 14 shots in the 3rd and 27 overall.

Like Mike Babcock said, “They just do what we do-and the team that does it better is going to win.”
